Ajar Blind School was started keeping in mind the alleviation of various types of sufferings - physical, mental and emotional - of the blind children, to make them lesser dependent on the mercy of others and to nurture & shape them to earn their livelihood so that they could be able to make a place of respect for themselves in the society, a school for blinds, named " Swami Ajranand Andh Vidyalaya High School " for the secred cause of the blinds was established on 30th May 1968 by the gracious hands of its Founder, Brahmaleen Shri Shri 1008 Swami Ajranand Ji Maharaj, at the religious city, Haridwar, the Gate-way to Heaven and is being governed by ''Shri Ajardham Mahila Ashram Trust".

This Ajardham Ashram consists, inter-alia other school buildings, a big magnificent temple where there are grand statues of Shri Laxmi Narayan, Annapurna Mata , Shankar Ji and many other gods and godesses. And also there stands constructed a splendid Satsang Hall and a huge, neat and clean Enclosure for Cows. Religiosity, natural serenity and tranquility seems reigning the Ashram.
